Contained herein are some songs that were written sometime in early 2014. I was feeling upset and disconnected because of my musical relationships with other people. I stepped back for a while and recorded some songs hoping to get some creativity flowing. This particular collection is pretty keyboard-heavy and I was using alot of sophisticated jazz chords. The tone of keyboard was set up to sound "luminous" so between the jazz chords and the chorus effect I think I got the sound down right. Electric guitar was an old Stratocaster and I used strictly the neck pickup on most solo parts. I used a Telecaster to redo a few guitar sections during the remix today. I also used a nylon string classical guitar in places. Bass guitar is an old Jay Turser, and a MIDI acoustic bass. The general vibe of the music is somewhat jazzy and mellow, smooth, meandering, searching, ambiguous direction. I was never happy with the final original recordings and never really thought it was worth the trouble to redo some of the parts since I had moved on to some newer material. So these tunes have lied dormant for quite a long time. But today I was listening to this collection while resting. The more I listened the more I though if I check the hard drive with the original Mixcraft files where these songs reside, with some luck I might be able to resurrect them and give them new life. Luckily all files were intact and I redid some guitar and keyboard parts, remixed the whole lot, mastered with better tools and finally matched the volume on all songs so levels were consistent. So I am finally pleased with this set once and for all. After 6 years I can start liking these tunes. So I present, one more time, "Perfecto Amico" remixed, remastered and re purposed"........
